High Temperature Hit The Industry Of Chemical In China

Recently, as the domestic Sichuan, Chongqing and other places due to high temperature heat wave, resulting in a severe power supply situation, and the recent deadline of the wave of electricity has begun to extend to many places in the Yangtze River basin.

Affected by the shortage of hydropower, Sichuan Province requires all industrial power users (including key security enterprises on the white list) in the orderly power consumption scheme of Sichuan power grid to stop production (except security load) from 00:00 on August 15th to 24:00 on August 20th.

Sichuan Province is a major supplier of chemical raw materials such as titanium dioxide, urea, yellow phosphorus, methanol and glyphosate. As of August 19, nearly 30 enterprises in Sichuan Province had issued temporary power supply suspension notices, involving several chemical companies.
